Alliance for Paired Donations (APKD)
Rejuvenate leadership is also responsible for founding The Alliance for Paired Donations (APKD), which uses a Nobel prize winning algorithm to generate living donor chains where previously incompatible donors and recipients can be matched with other incompatible pairs so that everyone gets the kidney they need.
Global Kidney Exchange
Rejuvenate is a founding supporter of the Global Kidney Exchange program, which expands the concept of donor chains to an international stage. This program increases opportunities to find qualified donors both domestically and abroad, while creating access to life-saving transplants for individuals from low and medium income countries.
Kidneys for Communities
We also donate to a nonprofit called Kidneys for Communities, which created a new pathway for living donors to play a role in who receives their kidney by directing organs to specific “communities” they want to support.
